With over 20 years of experience, my general approach to therapy is to provide useful feedback with an environment where you feel supported and respected. My Approach

My therapeutic approach integrates cognitive‑behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and family systems therapy to support meaningful healing and long‑term change. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is built on a deep understanding of human development, paired with clear, honest communication that helps clients feel seen and supported.
In our work together, I take an active, collaborative, and empathic approach—creating a safe space that is both encouraging and appropriately challenging. By exploring past experiences, understanding present circumstances, and identifying unhealthy patterns, I help clients access their inner strengths, overcome difficult situations, and make noticeable, lasting changes.
As a wife and mother of two, I bring a relatable, down‑to‑earth perspective to therapy. I understand the real‑life pressures women face while trying to build meaningful, balanced lives. My goal is to offer grounded, compassionate support for women navigating stress, anxiety, relationships, parenting, and major life transitions.

My approach is to actively engage, creating a supportive and collaborative environment that is equally empathic and challenging. By focusing on both past experiences and present circumstances, I seek to access the client's inner strengths in order to overcome difficult situations, make noticeable changes and break unhealthy patterns.
Relatable
Training aside, I hope to be relatable, down to earth and honest in my approach. I offer my life experience as a wife and mother of two. I understand the pressures that arise trying to create meaningful lives in a world full of pressures.

Insurance & "Out of Network" Insurance Information
Payment for services is paid directly to Dr. Elliott prior to services rendered. Dr. Lyndsay Elliott is considered to be an "out of network provider." Please contact your insurance carrier for information on out of network reimbursement rates and any deductibles for mental health coverage. Dr. Lyndsay Elliott maintains a record of your sessions, and can provide a detailed statement (i.e. including diagnosis and procedure code) for your records or insurance upon request. Additionally, it is your responsibility to confirm if your carrier provides reimbursement for telehealth services.
